Marvin and Jolina's "Dear Friend" to Replace Yasmin's "Tasya Fantasya"

Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin will reunite once again via GMA 7's new sunday afternoon program 'Dear Friend' which will replace Yasmin Kurdi's Tasya Fantasya starting July 20.

This is Jolina and Marvin's reunion after their highly successful primetime romance comedy I Love New York which featured the then loveteam of Mark Herras and Jennilyn Mercado.

"Kita n'yo naman kahit na may jetlag pa ako at nagnu-nosebleed, nandito ako sa first taping day namin ni Jolens. Ganyan ako ka-excited talaga," described Marvin on how excited he is to work again with Jolina. Marvin just arrived from the U.S. where he and Katrina Halili promoted GMA Pinoy TV.

How about Jolina?

"Noong sinabi nga sa akin itong Dear Friend at si Marvin ang makakasama ko, okey sa akin ang project. Yung concept kasi niya, hindi mabigat at tama lang sa edad naming dalawa ni Marvin. In the past naman, yung mga nagiging shows namin ni Marvin, hindi rin mabibigat. It's always yung maraming makaka-relate na mga kabataan sa amin. Kaya itong Dear Friend, marami ulit mga young people, and even mga mas older pa, ang makaka-relate sa aming dalawa,"

"Ang concept kase ng show ay parang "He Said. She Said" kung saan may mga letter sender na may sariling kuwento sa buhay at magkakaroon ng dramatization. Kami ni Marvin ang magsisilbing tagabigay ng advice sa letter sender."
