As Sookie is tending to a wounded Alcide she gets a surprise call from Bill. Her excitement lasts about two seconds before he acts like an asshole, breaks up with her and tells her all about the nastiness with Lorena. He tells her he doesn’t want to be found from her and then he peaces out. Okay, I’ll entertain the notion that he’s feigning enjoying what he did with Lorena to Sookie because he has an agenda but I still wouldn’t mind someone kicking him down below. Sookie, not one to give up, gets herself a whore-ish makeover and heads to the werewolf bar with Alcide.
Back home Franklin is still causing trouble for Tara. That girl just cannot catch a break. Now she’s gotten herself bitten by a vampire and duct taped to a toilet. What a horrible week she’' having. I can't figure out what Franklin is up to. He glamors Tara into helping him find Sookie but seems to genuinely want Tara with him all the time. What the heck? Is she just a pawn to him? Probably. But we won’t find out until next week.
While Sam is distracted by his messed up family, an emotional Arlene frets about running Merlotte's all by herself and hiding her pregnancy. To help out with the work load, Sam hires Jessica. Another hot redhead is not what Arlene had in mind. Jessica's night takes a turn for the worse when a formal bible study friend shows up and recognizes her. She takes him round back and tries to erase the memory of the sweet little guy. Hoyt just happens to walk by while this is happening and assumes Jessica has found someone to replace him. Poor Hoyt. Jason continues to feel lost with his life when a young football star comes into the bar. He gets drunk and confronts Andy about their secret. He tries to blackmail a newly crowned acting sheriff Andy into making him a cop. Ya know, because Jason is lazy and doesn’t want to have to do any actual work to get the job properly. Apparently tackling a guy is all it takes in his mind.
Back in the King's country, Bill plays along with the King’s wishes. In return for selling out Eric and the Queen for selling V, he asks a favor of the King. Kill Lorena. Yeah, he’s still hating himself for what he did last week. At least he knows how the rest of us feel for having to watch it. The king is pleased with this information and Fangtasia gets raided. Pam is taking hostage and tortured for information on why they’re selling V. Eric shows up and blames everything on Bill. It seems to buy him a little time. He has two days before Pam is killed. I’m kind of curious about Pam and Eric's backstory. He seems to care a lot about her. We learn the King isn’t so innocent either. He's the supplier of vampire blood to the werewolves. It looks almost as if he wants himself a werewolf army.
