The 25-year-old, who delivered the most memorable line in The Social Network as Mark Zuckerberg's girlfriend, landed the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (reportedly beating out the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Carey Mulligan) and is currently shooting the first film in the sure-to-be-blockbuster trilogy.
No. 2 — Adam Scott (actor) - Parks and Recreation
The alum of Starz' cult hit Party Down joined Parks and Recreation for two episodes last May, but now he's been bumped up to a full-fledged cast member for Parks' third season (starting Jan. 20).
No. 3 — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (23, actress) - Transformers: Dark of the Moon
The model-actress will take Megan Fox's place as the Transformers series' non-CGI eye candy in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the 23-year-old Brit's first acting gig.
No. 4 — James Newman (18, actor) - Skins
Newbie Newman, 18, has the lead role of Tony on MTV's Skins, the highly anticipated adaptation of the British series (debuting Jan. 17). He's a teen bad boy (complete with a leather jacket) trying to help his best friend lose his virginity.
No. 5 — Tom Hardy (33, actor) - The Dark Knight Rises, This Means War, and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
To follow-up his scene-stealing turn in Inception, this year Hardy, 33, will shoot The Dark Knight Rises opposite Christian Bale, and show up in both the Reese Witherspoon action comedy This Means War and an adaptation of the classic novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
No. 6 — Daniel Sunjata (39, actor) Grey's Anatomy, One for The Money
The 39-year-old Rescue Me star will be ''appearing indefinitely'' on Grey's Anatomy as Nurse Eli and will team up with Grey's alum Katherine Heigl in One for the Money this summer, playing a veteran bounty hunter who must teach Heigl's character the ropes.
No. 7 — Wiz Khalifa (23, rapper) - ''Black and Yellow"
The fun-loving Pittsburgh rapper, 23, plans to follow up his hit single ''Black and Yellow,'' an incredibly catchy ode to his hometown sports teams' official colors, with an as-yet-untitled 2011 album featuring guest vocalists like Snoop Dogg.
No. 8 — Michael Fassbander (33, actor) - Jane Eyre, Haywire, X-Men: First Class
The 33-year-old actor who dazzled as Lieut. Archie Hicox in Inglourious Basterds is about to have a pretty glorious year, with Jane Eyre (out March 11), Steven Soderbergh's spy thriller Haywire (April 22), and a turn as Magneto in the prequel X-Men: First Class (June 3).

With her infinitely listenable first two singles, ''17'' and ''One,'' the 18-year-old Ferreira has the potential to make waves when her long-anticipated still-untitled debut album finally hits stores this year.
